1. Optimizing the cold rolling process to improve dimensional accuracy

Some domestic enterprises have improved the pass design of cold rolling rolls and optimized the distribution of rolling passes, controlling the outer diameter tolerance of 35CrMo precision pipes within ± 0.05mm and the wall thickness tolerance within ± 0.03mm, meeting the requirements of high-end hydraulic systems for fitting accuracy.

For the 35CrMo material, the quenching and tempering process parameters (quenching+high-temperature tempering) are further optimized to improve toughness, reduce deformation and cracking tendency while ensuring strength. Some enterprises have introduced controlled atmosphere heat treatment furnaces, which significantly reduce the depth of decarburization layer on the surface of pipes.
