42CrMo Heat Treatment Quenching and Hardness

42CrMo alloy seamless steel pipe is a type of steel pipe with high strength, high hardness, and high wear resistance, made of 42CrMo alloy steel. It has good mechanical properties, such as high strength, high toughness, high wear resistance, and high corrosion resistance, and is suitable for manufacturing mechanical parts and tools with high load, high strength, and high wear performance requirements. 42CrMo alloy seamless steel pipes are widely used in fields such as aviation, aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, construction, and mechanical manufacturing.

1. The heat treatment specifications for 42CrMo seamless steel tube are as follows: heating temperature 1150~1200 ° C, starting temperature 1130~1180 ° C, and ending temperature>850 ° C, φ> At 50mm, slow cooling.

2. Normalizing specification: Normalizing temperature is 850~900 ° C, with air cooling after discharge.

3. High temperature tempering specification: Tempering temperature 680-700 ° C, air cooled after furnace discharge.

4. Quenching and tempering specifications: preheating temperature 680-700 ° C, quenching temperature 840-880 ° C, oil cooling, tempering temperature 580 ° C, water or oil cooling, hardness ≤ 217HBW.

5. Specification for sub temperature quenching and toughening treatment: quenching temperature 900 ° C, tempering temperature 560 ° C, hardness (37 ± 1) HRC6, induction quenching and tempering specification: quenching temperature 900 ° C, tempering temperature 150-180 ° C, hardness 54-60HRC.

6. 42CrMo steel is subjected to cryogenic treatment, which can precipitate highly dispersed ultrafine carbides from quenched martensite. After low-temperature tempering at 200 ℃, these ultrafine carbides can be transformed into carbides
