SAE 1010 SAE 1020: Used for general structure and mechanical structure or engineering and large-scale equipment for conveying fluid pipelines.
SAE 1045: After quenching and tempering, the parts have good comprehensive mechanical properties and are widely used in various important structural parts, especially those connecting rods, bolts, gears and shafts that work under alternating loads. But the surface hardness is low and not wear-resistant. Tempering + surface quenching can be used to improve the surface hardness of parts.
ST52: It is called Q345 in China. It is divided into four grades: Q345A, Q345B, Q345C, and Q345D according to grades. Among them, Q345B is the closest to ST52. It is a commonly used steel in boiler pressure vessels and chemical industry.
