Short Description:

30CrMnSiA alloy steel pipe has high strength but poor welding performance. After tempering, it has high strength and sufficient toughness, and has good hardenability. After quenching and tempering, it can be made into grinding wheel shafts, gears, and sprockets. It has good processability, minimal processing deformation, and very good fatigue resistance. Physical Property

1. High strength and toughness: It has good yield strength and tensile strength, as well as excellent impact toughness.

2. Good wear resistance: The high hardness level makes it suitable for use in high-wear environments.

Heat Treatment Process

Quenching: Heating to 880°C to 920°C, followed by rapid cooling in water or oil.

Tempering: Heating to 200°C to 500°C to achieve desired hardness and toughness.

Application Fields

1. Important structural components, such as aircraft landing gear, tanks and armored vehicle components.

2. High-strength fasteners and connectors.

3. High load gears and bearings.

Delivery status

Delivered with heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or without heat treatment.

It has high strength, but it is a medium-carbon quenched and tempered steel with large hardenability, so its welding performance is very poor.

After tempering, the material has high strength and sufficient toughness, and has good hardenability. After quenching and tempering, the material can be used as grinding wheel shafts, gears, and sprockets. Mill the blade with a carbide milling cutter and polish with a polishing machine. There should be no problem if the surface roughness reaches 3.2. The material is darker in color, and galvanizing can improve the surface quality and also prevent rust.
